Daniel’s passion for car detailing led him to turn his hobby into a successful business, while William brings over 10 years of experience in the motor trade industry to the team. Together, their goal was to build a team of skilled detailers who could provide exceptional service to both private clients and luxury car dealerships, earning a reputation as one of the best detailing businesses in the UK.

As a team, MW Detailing Ltd is committed to delivering top-quality workmanship and personalised service to each client. With Daniel’s expertise and William’s industry experience, they have built a business that prides itself on attention to detail, using only the latest techniques and products to achieve superior results. Dan returned to detailing in 2019 and created MuffWash. With a huge passion for cars and motorcycles, the opportunity of turning this passion into a career has always been a dream of his. He has been instrumental in creating the brand and building the reputation of the business

allowing us to grow to where we are today. Dan takes enormous pride in customer service and in creating an excellent working environment for the team.

Having spent the last 10 years working within the motor trade at management level, Will joined forces with Dan to create the business in 2019 and has been instrumental in building the business, focussing on growing and servicing our dealership client network. Another petrolhead, and a stickler for honesty and integrity, Will has helped build the foundations on which the principles of the business are built.

Adam joined MuffWash as a Director in 2021. A good friend of Dan for some time, Adam saw huge potential in the business and joined forces. Adam owned and managed ‘Mango Valeting and Detailing’ for 8 years prior to joining, which was one of North Wales’ and Shropshire’s leading detailing businesses. Adam brings with him an enormous wealth of experience and is a fantastic teacher who’s had a huge impact on training staff and ensuring all of our standards are at their absolute best.

Best part of the job? “The smile on the customer’s face when they collect their car.”

Dream Car? “Ferrari F430 Scuderia”

Goes by? “Welsh Wizard”

Aaron (or ‘Ron’ as we know him!) has been working with Dan since before MuffWash began. What started as a hobby soon became a career when he was offered our very first position as a staff member. Ron has worked incredibly hard since joining in 2020 and has become a force to be reckoned with within the industry. Whether it’s new cars or 40 year old classics, his range of skills have it covered. Now known as MuffWash’s “undercarriage” specialist, his background as a mechanic provides extremely useful to the more hands on parts of the job when it comes to more specialist detailing surrounding underside/engine components. That, and it’s a funny name.

Best part of the job? “Cleaning a mucky undercarriage”

Dream Car? “(new) Aston Martin V8 Vantage”

Goes by? “Ronny D”

Gaz joined in 2022 having previously owned and run a successful mobile valeting business in Wrexham. With an exceptional work ethic and a rich training background having worked with some of the most highly regarded detailers in the country, Gaz wanted a platform on which to hone his skills and quickly became an integral part of the team. Specialising in new car presentation and protection. He does however have Gareth Bale tattoo’d on his leg, but nobody’s perfect.

Best part of the job? “Friday Beers after work”

Goes by? “Gaz”

Ben’s journey with MuffWash has been a pleasure to witness. His attention to detail when it comes to a vehicle’s presentation are second to none and having joined in 2021 as a trainee he has excelled himself and become a fully fledged, highly skilled detailer. His sense of humour is questionable, but once we get him to stop laughing at his own jokes he might just be the full package! We would consider Ben our paint specialist, with an excellent eye for imperfections and a raft of experience working with all different paint types.

Best part of the job? “All of it!”

Sophie has an uncanny ability to work extremely hard without ever looking remotely unhappy about it! Regularly described as a ‘power house’ by our customers. Coming from a mobile valeting background, Sophie turned her hand to detailing then joined the team in 2022 as a trainee. In 2023, she had progressed to one of our detailers and is focussing each day on broadening her skills. Providing assistance to the rest of the team, Sophie is a credit to the business and is regularly complimented by our customers for her work and the way in which she goes about it.

Best part of the job? “The satisfaction of watching the car’s transformation”
